I tried Nebula (Video streaming service)

For those who are not aware, Nebula is a pretty interesting streaming service which, according to Wikipedia, has been around for five years (this sounds wrong to me though, as I literarily heard about it last year! – but that maybe a ‘me’ problem.)

  • Interesting. I find myself agreeing with everything you said, yet I still ended up paying for it…

    That might say more about me than about nebula though. I think the difference is I’m still trying to de-google ( and de-youtube ). I think I agree with you that with youtube premium (or an adblocker) and sponsorblock, there probably isn’t enough to make it worth it if you’re only comparing the video services as video services.

    For me, a large part of its value comes from the fact that it isn’t youtube, not just that it doesn’t have youtube’s annoyances.
