I just saw an article about how most people are cutting back this Christmas. One of the comments said “it’s because most things are not worth the money any more”. This so incredibly true. I think I feel the same But hadn’t articulated it so directly.

I have just watched Casablanca. 2025s Christmas viewing is done. I will watch it again this time next year. Such a superb movie. Maybe the best movie.

I just read an article in The Times about a 26 year old woman. Who is embarrassed that she is married so young. Since when is it embarrassing to get married at any age? Also, 26 isn’t that young… is it?

Foggy this morning. Drove to work appreciating the glow of lights through the haze. There is something beutiful when modern electric meets natures quirks.
Got the Vellum book formatting tool (30% off this week) and wow. It’s really cool. Tossed in a book I wrote and I popped out a perfect export with zero tweaking. Very happy.
I keep seeing brush packs for procreate advertised, and there are like 3k brushes. All I want is like 3 really good ones.
I have been watching through the show Silo for the first time. I’m almost at the end of the first season. It’s brilliantly but together. Really engaging and mysterious.

Was self aware and a little silly in all the right ways. I really enjoyed all the characters, though the ending felt like a bit of a cluster bomb, and, was the weakest part of it. That said, I really did enjoy it all. I doubt it will be as well remembered as the original. I should read the book.
